Odeon Bistro – Firenze

Odeon Bistro is one of those places where you can feel the air of 40s and 50s. I like the interior and the food is so delicious! The price is 10 EUR for a drink and unlimited buffet and the last time I was there I ate my favorite gnocchi, different salads, rise with chicken sauce, ribollita (typical Tuscan soup made with vegetables and bread), coccoli (fried bread dumplings), small pizzas and sandwiches and the waitress was constantly bringing more and more food! Odeon Bistro is next to the famous old beautiful cinema Odeon, so after having aperitivo why not seeing a nice movie? Odeon cinema is maybe the only cinema in Florence where you can see original version with subtitles in Italian.

All’Antico Vinaio – Firenze

The best sandwiches ever! Really! All’Antico Vinaio isn’t a place to make an aperitivo, but their sandwiches for only 5 EUR are the most delicious I have ever tried! And they are giant! The bread (foccacia) is always fresh and warm supplied by the restaurant (trattoria) just in front of the vinaio. The guys working there are always smiling and advising what suits best the meat you choose. If you are a vegetarian – no problem at all. You can have a vegetarian sandwich with different salsa, dry tomatoes, spicy eggplants, ruccola and so on. A glass of wine costs 2 EUR. It’s completely normal to wait 30 people long queue or even longer at lunch time to grab your sandwich. It’s a little bit pity there are only few chairs so everybody are standing, eating, drinking and chatting or just sitting on the street. Don’t miss All’Antico Vinaio!

D.O.C Donnini – Firenze

D.O.C Donnini is a gourmet aperitivo. The portions of meal are small, but delicious and the ambience is elegant and relaxed. The bar is next to a restaurant and the aperitivo price is 10 EUR. But if you want to feel the aristocratic atmosphere of local Italians, D.O.C Donnini is a must! I tried different types of cheese with delicious jams, octopus with potatoes, eggplants, tuna sandwiches. I would love to go back there also because it’s not so crowded like the other aperitivo bars.

Rifrullo – Firenze

Rifrullo is a great place to take aperitivo in the summer. There is a big garden, so it is really lovely to enjoy your evenings out in Florence. The aperitivo price is 10 EUR and the buffet is quite rich. I’ve been there in winter too for a great party of Couchsurfing for St. Valentine’s Day. Rifrullo is situated in a small piazza with many trattoria pizzeria and gelateria and near my favorite Giardino delle Rose, so it could be just a stop for a coffee during the day.
