Soul Kitchen – Firenze

Soul Kitchen is one of the first bars where I tried aperitivo in Florence and it was fantastic! The price is 8 EUR and the buffet offers great variety of pasta, cheese, pâté, French fries, couscous, sometime amazing fried crispy eggplants and if you are lucky you can have delicious chocolate truffles! Soul Kitchen offers a lot of cocktails with prosecco and different Aperol cocktails, too! There is a beautiful basement downstairs and the place can be booked also for private parties.

Kitsch and Kitsch Deux – Firenze

When I started to search for aperitivo bars in Florence all websites were telling the same – Kitsch has the best aperitivo in town. When I started to ask Italians which place they would recommend me, everybody were telling the same - Kitsch has the best aperitivo in town. After checking up the website of Kitsch, I said to myself- I really don’t wonna go there-it’s sooo kitsch, but I have to admit-Kitsch has the best aperitivo in town! So many things to eat, everything is fresh and warm and it never finishes-pasta, pizza, potatoes, French fries, hams and salami, salads, vegetables and so many others! The price is 10 EUR but it’s really worth trying it! And yes – the ambience is very kitsch and the music is maybe a little bit too loud, but who cares, let’s just eat well and have fun!

Gli Stuzzichini del Corso – Firenze

Well, this is not exactly a place for buffet + drink like the other ones, but it’s worth mentioning it because of the best price for cocktails I’ve found in Florence – 3.50 EUR only! Moreover, Gli Stuzzichini del Corso is on one of the most famous streets in Florence - via del Corso. The cocktails are really well done and strong! Along with your cocktail they serve you some stuzzichini (appetizers) like chips, nuts and olives. The bar also offers sandwiches, crepes, hot chocolate in the winter and granite in the summer! So, Gli Stuzzichini del Corso is just a great stop and not expensive one for a long day’s walking.
