The best sandwiches ever! Really! All’Antico
Vinaio isn’t a place to make an aperitivo, but their sandwiches for only
5 EUR are the most delicious I have ever tried! And they are giant! The
bread (foccacia) is always fresh and warm supplied by the restaurant
(trattoria) just in front of the vinaio. The guys working there are always
smiling and advising what suits best the meat you choose. If you are a
vegetarian – no problem at all. You can have a vegetarian sandwich with different
salsa, dry tomatoes, spicy eggplants, ruccola and so on. A
glass of wine costs 2 EUR. It’s completely normal to wait 30 people
long queue or even longer at lunch time to grab your sandwich. It’s a little
bit pity there are only few chairs so everybody are standing, eating, drinking
and chatting or just sitting on the street. Don’t miss All’Antico Vinaio!
