This is
really the best price I’ve found for aperitivo in Florence! For only
5 EUR you will find an abundant vegetarian buffet, cocktail, mocktail, beer
or a glass of wine – you can enjoy all of these near piazza Sant’Ambroggio in the
center of town. Modo Wine Bar is a little bit tiny and small but the
atmosphere is friendly and informal. Even the cute dog Mina of the owner is
small. Mina, like the name of the singer of the famous Italian song Parole
parole…
If you are
a football fan, this is your place! I’ve been there when some matches
were broadcasted on TV and didn’t like it, but maybe this could be great
for you!
There are
tables outside in summer and it’s quite difficult to find a place to sit. On
Fridays you can have a fish aperitivo for double price. Not tried yet,
but it's on the TO DO list!
